All of us at CtKCC would like to wish Mrs Kirkham, Headteacher of St Wulstan’s Catholic Primary School, a very happy and healthy retirement. Mrs Kirkham retires from her role as Headteacher this summer, having led this two-form entry Catholic primary school, with an extremely successful nursery and care club, for the past 7 years.

Prior to being Headteacher at St Wulstan’s, Mrs Kirkham was Headteacher at St Luke’s Primary in Endon and previously taught in other local primary schools for 17 years.  In total, she has served Catholic education for 24 years, and has now been presented with the Ubi Caritas award to acknowledge her dedication to Catholic education.

Theresa Madden, CEO and Senior Executive Leader of CtKCC, said of Mrs Kirkham’s retirement: “Jo has been a wonderful support to the other CtKCC Headteachers and an invaluable member of the team. Her understanding of the importance of research in driving school improvement has been invaluable in moving us forward at CtKCC. Her faith lies at the heart of all she does, and she has been the catalyst in securing Building the Kingdom training for all our schools. Jo embodies our Catholic values of Love, Faith and Service to Others. She is a truly inspirational leader who will be greatly missed by us all.”

We all wish you all the very best for your retirement, Mrs Kirkham.  You will be missed!
