In 2018, Christ the King Catholic Collegiate took the decision to produce high quality meals, freshly cooked from raw ingredients and harnessing the skills of our catering staff, by taking the provision of Catering Services in-house.
Initially, this provision was for four academies with a fifth academy joining in September 2020.
Our menus are designed to include popular dishes that children recognise, enjoy and most importantly, eat. The quality food offered meets the nutritional guidelines for schools and provides a balanced approach to healthy eating.
All of our produce is sourced locally, from local businesses, which not only reduces our carbon footprint but also ensures our produce is as fresh as possible.
We pride ourselves in being able to:

Via Veritas Vita – The Way, the Truth and the Life
St. John Fisher Catholic College exists primarily to provide a high-quality education based on the teachings of Jesus Christ and His Church for the Catholic community of North Staffordshire.
We deliver a curriculum underpinned in our Catholic values that aims to create successful and resilient learners who aspire to and achieve excellence. We aim to create confident individuals who can explore and communicate effectively. We also aim to create responsible citizenship who are active, loving and wise in all of their endeavours. We achieve each of these aims by delivering an innovative Catholic curriculum both in and beyond the classroom, underpinned by the ‘Fisher Way’ of love, joy and faith, encouraging creative and flexible approaches to learning and teaching. We enjoy close links and partnerships with local, national and international organisations, giving students a wide range of opportunities to experience the world of work.
Learning to live out our calling with compassion and love
St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School was established by the Archdiocese of Birmingham, for 3 to 11 year olds. The school was built on a site steeped in local history, and paid for by the Catholic Community of Newcastle, the school was opened in 1938 by Mgr. D. Kelly to serve the Catholic parishes of Newcastle, Silverdale and Knutton. In 2014 the school became part of the CtKCC MAC.
St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School is a loving, caring and inclusive Christian community where the Catholic Faith is not only taught, but is nurtured and reflected in the daily life of the school. Our strong Christian values underlie every relationship and partnership that we have with pupils, parents, the parish community and visitors so that all are respected and loved as children of God. Our pupils are provided with secure grounding in the Catholic tradition, fulfilment of their academic potential and the opportunities to explore and nourish their talents and their uniqueness.

With Christ, we grow in faith and understanding.
St. Teresa’s is a larger than average Catholic Academy serving the parish of Trent Vale in Stoke-on-Trent. The school is at the heart of the community and works closely with parents, families and parishioners in promoting the spiritual and moral development of all pupils. St. Teresa’s is a very happy school, where children thrive and have a passion for learning. They spend their days within a community of love which ensures that their spiritual and learning journeys are thoughtfully planned to enable them to grow close to God and fulfil their unique potential. The staff are fully committed to providing children with a broad and exciting learning experience, packed with new challenges and long-lasting memories. We journey with the children and together flourish in a Catholic community bearing witness to Jesus Christ. The school is proud of its inclusive nature and we celebrate the rich diversity within our school community as our children ‘grow in faith and understanding with Christ’.
Making the heart, mind and spirit soar
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Primary School is a one form entry school situated in the centre of Stoke. It has a very diverse community with over fifty percent of our pupils coming from different countries and cultures. We believe that this prepares our pupils to live alongside others in an ever changing multi-cultural society.
We have strong sporting and music traditions, we were one of the first primary schools in Stoke on Trent to achieve the School Games Platinum Award and a number of our pupils have gone on to do very well in the Stoke on Trent Musician of the Year awards.
Integral to our school are our Catholic beliefs and values which permeate everything that we do and teach. Consequently, our pupils achieve high standards not only academically but also spiritually and personally in a supportive, nurturing environment.
By following in the footsteps of Jesus we are: ‘making the heart, mind and spirit soar’
We come to school to love, learn and share in the light of Jesus
St. Wulstan’s has a positive and caring environment in which every child is valued and respected. As a Catholic School, we endeavour to provide our children with an education underpinned by Gospel teaching. Our children are well behaved, have a strong sense of belonging and a clear understanding of our school’s message of the need to care for each other. Our children to come to school smiling and ready to learn. We love to see children laughing and enjoying their learning, as we believe that children learn best when motivated to do so.
Our school offers a broad and balanced curriculum, led by highly motivated staff keen to provide the best possible learning and teaching experiences. Children explore their own learning, through collaboration and exploration, alongside more traditional lessons to ensure keyskills are embedded. Each child’s attainment is closely and rigorously monitored to ensure that all children make good progress.
St Wulstan’s has a rich sporting and musical tradition, and we have a strong pastoral support team who work with families and children requiring additional support. Our school believes that a proactive approach ensures that children’s needs are met at the earliest possible stages and we work closely with local agencies to ensure that our children and families are well supported and safe.
